You will receive a grade for creating the document using the written instructions below. If you follow each step, you will make your word search with no trouble at all! If something isn't working or doesn't look right, you have not followed instructions.

Make a list of 30 things you can do instead of drugs. *Go to this link: Be Drug Free and open up the puzzle maker

*Step 1: Type your title of the puzzle (something Red Ribbon Week related)*Step 2: Adjust puzzle size to 20X20 *Step 3: Choose"share letters occasionally" *Step 4: Choose “text” button
Step 5: Begin typing your list of 30 words; you may try to copy and paste

Step 6:Choose
Create Puzzle and get your word search. Highlight the puzzle and words and COPY to be able to paste onto a new WORD document.

ON WORD DOCUMENT
Paste your word search into a new word document and save
Look at the example on your table for a 100 finished product

To set up your document go to PAGE Layout – Margins –CUSTOM - 0.5 all - top, bottom, left, right

Type a title with ~ by and your full name - centered

CENTER the word search puzzle– highlight the puzzle- change to 14 font

INSERT a TABLE below your word search – 3 X 1
Copy and paste the word list so you have an even number (10) of words in each column
Yes, you want to get rid of table border lines ~ R click on table – borders/shading - NONE

INSERT 2 pieces of clip art for red ribbon week – you may Google "red ribbon week" - you may have more than two

To work with clip art…double click on image and click POSITION in the toolbar at top, Choose more Layout Options – in front of text. This allows you to freely move the clipart.

SAVE - the document must be ONE page only
